Where Happiness Begins – History

It’s Monday again.  And it’s been a busy one.  All the more reason to remember what I’m thankful for.

After a wonderful weekend with family and friends, I’m so thankful for my history.  My personal history, my family history, my spiritual history.  I’m thankful for the good and the bad, the ugly and the pretty, the messy and the neat, the unexpected and the planned, the hard and the easy.  All of it.  It’s made me who I am.  And every bit of it shapes my future.

I’m thankful for the history and foundation of faith my mom and grandparents laid for me.  I’m thankful for the history of friendships that span a lifetime.  I’m thankful for my history.
